As mentioned in the registration packet, we have new software called Class Choice to allow students the opportunity to make some adjustments to their schedules from home or other locations they are able to connect to the internet. Please understand that as we are rolling out this new software, there will be some limitations as we determine the best options to use in our district. Although you will be able to add classes, delete classes, and move classes around in your schedule, there will be some courses that will not allow you to drop. If you have any questions, please call the school and visit with a counselor, administrator, or the counseling secretary. Please take the opportunity to log in and begin making adjustments to your schedule as soon as possible. Click on the BHS Class Choice Instructions.pdf  for instructions. As courses fill up, the fewer options you will be able to make on your own.

Mission: Learn, Prepare, Succeed

Vision: We prepare to succeed when we respect ourselves and others and demonstrate integrity and personal accountability.  We learn to succeed as we think critically, communicate effectively and apply the knowledge and skills we acquire.

We hope all is well in the Bonneville Community as we are approaching the end of another school year. Please make sure to stay in contact with your student’s teachers if you have any questions or concerns with their classes. PowerSchool may be accessed at anytime from a computer to monitor the progress of your child. If you are not sure how to log into PowerSchool or are having problems, please contact Mrs. Amanda Whitt @ 525-4406 and she can assist you in gathering this information.

We are in the process of pre-registering for classes for the 2016-2017 school year. The counseling department has meet with all of our students in their history classes and shared with them the required courses and elective options that are available to them for their perspective grade. Please review your child’s class selection and make adjustments as necessary to request the desired courses for next year. This is an important step in our process for building a master schedule for the upcoming school year. We want to ensure that there are appropriate sections available for the courses our students select. Please make sure to check the pre-requisite courses that might apply or other requirements associated with the courses you select. There is a direct link to the Bonneville School District registration book on our website. Please review the course description book for any questions you may have regarding a class.

Bonneville High School is working very diligently to provide additional dual enrollment opportunities for our students during the upcoming years. Many of our teachers have been working with Idaho State University and the College of Southern Idaho to articulate our courses to receive dual enrollment. Please watch for additional information to come regarding dual enrollment opportunities. There are some exciting things occurring in the state in regards to dual enrollment and Advanced Placement opportunities that will be of great benefit to our students. Once we have the details we need and verify which courses we will be able to offer next fall, we will provide additional information to our students and parents.
