Earth Science

This required ninth grade course is designed to give students a basic knowledge of the Earth, its component parts and its relationship to the Universe to which it is a part. It will also bring students to a knowledge of natural phenomena such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanoes, and earthquakes, as well as an understanding of the Earth's energy, mineral, and human resources.
