Ten years as a junior high and high school English teacher, combined with careers in agriculture, logging, railroading, business, and carpentry help Mr. McArthur in his roles of Career Center Coordinator and Career Counselor. Mr. McArthur also brings seventeen years of experience as a guidance counselor to help assist Bonneville High students with career exploration. Mr. McArthur is Idaho certified as a K-12 Counselor and as a Career Counselor.

The career center offers a variety of interest, ability, and aptitude tests to help students and adults with career exploration. The Career Center also provides COMPASS testing at no charge, which is the admission test required by State vocational and technical/professional schools such as ISU�s College of Applied Technology, Eastern Idaho Technical College, and College of Southern Idaho. Mr. McArthur is willing to provide assistance to District 93 students and patrons during the school day and at other times with appointment.

Bonneville students can also earn elective school credit for work experience during their junior and senior years. Contact Mr. McArthur in the Career Center located in Bonneville High School�s library (525-4406) for additional information.
