If you would like your child to receive recurring mental health counseling with a counselor here at Bonneville High School please reach out to your preferred counselor and fill out the Parental Consent to Administer Counseling Services form, and return to your preferred counselor.

Jared Smith has over 18 years of experience working with the youth in Idaho Falls. Specializing in at-risk interventions he worked as a school counselor and the Safe and Drug Free Schools Coordinator in the Idaho Falls School District before joining the team at Bonneville High. He graduated from Idaho Falls High, attended Weber State University and received his Masters in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Chanin Thompson is a National Board Certified Counselor, QPR Master Trainer, and a Hope Squad Advisor. She was born and raised in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree from Idaho State University and taught English and History for 15 years. Mrs. Thompson also earned her Master's in Counseling and an Ed Specialist in Counseling at Idaho State University. Mrs. Thompson has been a counselor at BHS since 2008.
